This month has seen plenty of action from the internet marketing gurus with bulk email being sent out like crazy. At least 3 big names have been pumping out video content as part of their marketing efforts, including Stompernet, John Reese and Frank Kern.
The problem is that these videos are loooong... and it's difficult to find time to watch them ALL. One in particular was from Frank Kern and was 90 minutes long, while being very technical and... dare I say it... boring.
The other video of interest was from Stompernet, where they told spammers internet marketers how to use scribd to rank fast. In doing so they created a storm, not least by pissing scribd off with the amount of spam they were suddenly subjected t and may therefore have been instrumental in getting all links removed from scribd.
However, the situation may be back to normal shortly as scribd have stated that their intention is to have a temporary link removal until they have new tools in place to deal with this problem.
