SEO is super simple

January 31, 2008 / by markhazard

I was thinking about this the other day, but the truth is that SEO really is so simple that anyone can do it. The truth is that you don't need to think much about what goes on the page at all, most of it is about getting links to your website or webpage.

OK, so do write a good title and spend a few minutes on the description because you wantpeople who find you listing in Google to actually like your title and description enough for them to actually click through to your site. Also, write a good content as you can; poor content is of no value to anyone.

Then you need to get links to your webpages, preferable containing anchor text that contains the target phrase or phrases for that page. That's it.

Whooaaa!!! Hold on. How do I get links?

OK, this is the difficult bit;

submit to 3-5 submissiions each day.

Put a Digg button on your site so that when peole see your great content they Digg it

write about it in a blog/blogs

Comment on other people's blogs - don't spam them, make it relevant

... you get the picture

That's it, eventually your website rankings will improve. I didn't say it would be quick, did I?

You must have a relevant Title and keywords.. they must be high ranking keywords.. they cant be just any......    You need to research what your competition is using...click on  "View Source" on thier websites and make your Info similar to thiers..!!

    SEO is a small part of internet marketing. Yes, you need to identify what keywords people are using in the search engines, and finding where competition is weak. That takes time and thought - the SEO bit is simple though.
